FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

When is the best time for a maternity shoot?
The ideal time for a maternity shoot is between the 28th and 36th week of pregnancy. During this period, your bump is beautifully round, and you still feel comfortable enough to fully enjoy the shoot.

Are maternity dresses available?
In my studio, I have a wide variety of maternity dresses, fabrics, and accessories from which you can choose to create your sets.

When is the best time for a newborn shoot?
The most beautiful pictures of newborns are taken within the first 14 days. During this period, newborns usually sleep most of the time, making it easier to photograph them in a curled-up position, similar to how they were in the womb.

How long does a photo session last?
It depends on the type of photo session you book. For a maternity shoot, the "small" session lasts about 1 hour, the "medium" session around 2 hours, and the "large" session takes approximately 2-3 hours. For a newborn shoot, the "small" session lasts about 1.5 hours, the "medium" session around 2-3 hours, and the "large" session about 3 hours. We always plan enough time for your baby to rest and feed in between, ensuring there is no stress for your baby.

What should I wear for the shoot?
For the maternity shoot, wear something loose-fitting that doesn’t leave marks on your skin. For newborn shoots, I recommend light-coloured tops for family pictures. Feel free to bring multiple outfits, and we can choose the best one together!

Can I bring my partner and other children?
Yes, of course! The best photos often happen when the whole family is involved. Your partner and children are warmly welcome to share these special moments with you. Only in the "small" newborn shoot are sibling photos not included.

What happens if my baby cries or is restless during the shoot?
Don’t worry, this is completely normal. We take the necessary time and respond to your baby’s needs, whether it's to soothe, feed, or cuddle them. A relaxed and calm atmosphere is very important to achieve the best results and ensure your little one sleeps peacefully.

How long does it take to receive the photos?
After the shoot, you will receive an online gallery with the best shots the next day, from which you can select your pictures. Once you have chosen your favourites, I will edit them within about 5 days. You will receive the professionally retouched photos in both colour and black and white.

How can I book an appointment?
You can easily book an appointment through the contact form on my website or by phone. I look forward to hearing from you and capturing your special moments!
